The School for East Asia Democracy invites you!

The School for East Asia Democracy (SEAD) brings together students from all over the world to study current issues facing the East Asia region and develop ways to create a more democratic East Asian community. The issues facing the 21st century, such as nuclear energy, climate change and poverty, are multi-faceted and cross borders. The first class of SEAD will lay the foundation for a cooperative network of East Asian community youth leaders and design new, innovative ways to address the complex issues of our century.

The 2012 SEAD program is held in Korean. This allows conversation to flow smoother and facilitate easier understanding among all participants. Please include your Korean language level (TOPIK score, etc) if available

DMZ in the Korean peninsula! War and Peace. Divosion and Understanding. Antagonish, and Cooperation. We learn “Peace and Life” from the DMZ spot, and from its history.

We have had many Korean applicants so far, but are looking to have more international students participate so we can share different perspectives and learn and grow from one another.
